If you can participate in our project - the copies can be made at TISA so that you can retain the original print.

We would like to have everyone participate so that we can make an awesome display & reminisce about the old times & people that have gone before us.  Everyone will be able to enjoy this wonderful display.

Information

The Trenton Indian Service Area Board of Directors decided to honor veterans in the Trenton Cemetery with metal images indicating service or in some cases, killed in action, who are buried there.

Approximately 40 veterans were found and the metal statues were placed on the grave sites.  We also honored four veterans who were killed in action.  They included two from World War Two, Henry Bill Bowen and LaVern Gohl: one from Korea, Eugene Falcon and one from Viet Nam, Ralph McCowan.

There have been many favorable comments from the community and we would like to extend our thanks to the following staff who helped:  Candy McCowan, TJ Lee, Dezarae Slater, Terri Slater, Katlin Leslie, Sheila Bjerke, Karen Johnson, Merv Gosselin, Roger Falcon and Gordon Falcon.

Special thanks to the TISA BOARD OF DIRECTORS for their action in creating this tribute to our veterans. The Trenton Indian Service Area Board of Directors decided to honor veterans in the Trenton Cemetery with metal images indicating service or in some cases, killed in action, who are buried there.
